HR Services for Remote & Hybrid Companies

Six situations. Six services.

Find the situation(s) closest to yours and follow it to the service. Nothing quite fits? That's worth a call.

The service

Change Management Consulting

Something is changing and people aren't adopting it. A reorg, an AI rollout, a new system, a hybrid policy change, a culture reset that stalled.

A diagnosis, a written plan, the comms and manager materials to carry it, and us working beside your managers when it launches.

Fractional HR Leadership

Nobody senior owns HR, and it's starting to show up as risk. Or your HR lead is stretched, on leave, or leaving.

An HR function that runs, and a senior person accountable for it: handbooks, compliance, performance, benefits, employee relations.

The service

Remote People Operations

Something your company runs on was never actually designed. The onboarding, the pay bands, the documents your new AI assistant is reading.

The system itself, built and handed over. Documentation, HR workflows, roles and pay, performance, onboarding, offboarding.

Talent Acquisition

You're hiring people you'll never share an office with, through a process built for people you would.

Hires, plus a hiring process that keeps working after we leave: structured interviews, real scorecards, funnel reporting.

Employer Branding

What it's like to work for you is real inside the company and invisible outside it.

An EVP your own people recognize, a careers site that answers remote questions, video, recruitment marketing, award submissions.

Leadership Coaching

One leader has to carry something they haven't carried before, often the change everyone else is waiting on.

One-to-one coaching for that leader. Confidential, typically three to six months.

What Does Your Team Need Right Now?

A finished deliverable, or a senior partner embedded on your team. We do both, so either way we've got you covered.

With a finish line

Project Support

A defined piece of work with a start, a finish, and deliverables you keep.

We agree on what "finished" looks like before the work starts, so nobody has to guess when the job is done. The work is built with the people who'll run it after we leave.

  • A written scope with a clear end point
  • An owner named for every deliverable
  • Everything we produce is yours at handover

Usually: Change Management Consulting, Remote People Operations, Employer Branding

Choose this when: you can describe what "finished" looks like.

No set end date

Ongoing Support

A senior person and their judgment, working inside your company month after month.

We join your leadership rhythm and own outcomes week to week, the way a senior hire would. There's no list that ends it, because the need doesn't end.

  • A senior person who already knows your company
  • Priorities that shift as the business does
  • Stop at the end of any month and keep what's been produced [Confirm for Fractional HR, open item 4.]

Usually: Fractional HR Leadership, Leadership Coaching, Talent Acquisition

Choose this when: the need is a function, not a task.

Most services can take either shape. If you can't tell which one fits, that's a short conversation, and we'd rather have it before you start than after.

How a Blend Me engagement works, start to finish

Four steps, the same four whichever service you buy.

  1. A discovery call, free.

No deck and no qualifying script. You describe what's happening, and we tell you honestly whether it's a change problem, a people-function problem, a hiring problem, or something you can fix without hiring anybody. Sometimes it's the last one, and we say so.

  2. A written scope, within 48 hours.

What we'll do, what you'll do, what "finished" looks like, and one number. Project work names its deliverables and their acceptance criteria. Ongoing work names what a typical month holds.

  3. The work, with you in it.

Nobody on our side writes a recommendation and leaves. We do the work alongside the managers who'll live with it after we're gone.

  4. A stopping point you control.

Larger projects run in phases, and you decide after each one whether to keep going. Smaller projects end at handover. Ongoing work runs month by month. Whichever it is, you keep everything produced to that point.

How much Blend Me's services cost

Blend Me bills flat: a fixed fee for a single project, or a flat monthly rate for work that's larger or ongoing. One number, agreed before anything starts, and it doesn't move.

We don't bill by the hour.. Where hours appear below, they're a barometer so you can gauge what you're getting, not a timesheet we invoice against. If a month runs long, we absorb it. If it runs short, the price is still the price.

What a month buys

Change Management Consulting and Fractional HR Leadership are billed in the same three blocks, and so is any project large enough to need checkpoints.

Starter

$5,000 a month

Roughly 30 hours

  • One workstream
  • A Diagnose phase, or a single larger project with checkpoints
Most popular

Core

$8,450 a month

Roughly 60 hours

  • Embedded with your team
  • A full change engagement, or two or three projects running together

Full scope

Custom

More than a Core month holds

  • Several workstreams at once, or project work running beside ongoing support

A block describes how much work a month holds. It says nothing about the size of your company or your budget, and which one fits comes out of the written scope. There's no long-term lock-in: the number on your contract is the number on your invoice.

Can you buy more than one? Yes, and they stack

Six services sounds like six purchases. In practice they combine, and a few combinations come up often enough to name.

A change project that becomes ongoing support.

Partway through a phased change, a company sometimes finds the change was hard because nobody owns the people function. The project finishes, and ongoing support picks up from there. One client of ours ran phased project work with us for two years before moving to ongoing support that's still running.

Add-on projects during an existing Fractional or Ongoing Support engagement.

If we're already working with you, a project like a handbook rebuild or an onboarding program can run inside that engagement. We already know your team, so there's no discovery to redo.

Hiring, plus the roles underneath it.

Talent Acquisition meets Remote People Operations at job descriptions and pay bands. We can define the role and its band while we run the search, so the structure gets tested on a live hire instead of in a document.

Coaching beside a change.

In our experience, change stalls at the manager layer more than anywhere else. When an engagement leans hard on two or three leaders, coaching them runs in parallel, not afterward.

Who Blend Me is not for

Two honest limits. It's cheaper for both of us if you hear them now.

Fully co-located companies.

We've worked only with remote and hybrid companies since 2013. If everyone is in the same building every day, a generalist HR consultancy will serve you better. What this doesn't mean: an office-based company with one fully remote department is hybrid, and that's squarely our work.

Buyers shopping on cost per head.

If the goal is cheaper labor from a lower-wage market, that's a real service and it isn't this one. Offshore staffing firms do it well, and for far less than we charge.

Questions people ask before they choose

A fractional HR leader holds a seat: they join your leadership rhythm, own people outcomes week to week, and bill flat every month. An HR consultant delivers a scoped project, hands it over and leaves. Blend Me does both. If you can describe what "finished" looks like, you want the project. If the need is a function rather than a task, you want the seat.

People operations builds the system, and change management gets people to use it. If nobody has written the onboarding program yet, that is a people operations project. If the program exists and nobody follows it, that is a change problem. The tell is whether the thing itself is missing or the adoption is.

Blend Me's monthly work costs $5,000 for roughly 30 hours or $8,450 for roughly 60, with custom pricing above that. The hours are a guide to scope, not a timesheet, and Blend Me never bills by the hour. Single people operations projects are fixed fees from $1,400 to $40,000. For comparison, Consult Fees' April 2026 benchmark puts an embedded fractional HR partner at $4,000 to $10,000 a month.

Project Support is a defined piece of work with a finish line and deliverables you keep. Ongoing Support is a senior person working inside your company, with no set end date and no deliverable that ends it. Most Blend Me services can take either shape.

With a free discovery call, then a written scope within 48 hours that names the deliverables, who does what, and one number. There is no paid discovery phase before the discovery phase. For change work, a Diagnose-only readiness assessment is the most common first step.

Yes, and the services are built to combine. Common combinations are a change project that turns into ongoing support, people operations projects that run inside an engagement already in flight, and a hiring search paired with the job descriptions and pay bands underneath it. Work added to an existing engagement doesn't need its own discovery.

A full phased change engagement usually runs six to nine months, and coaching typically runs three to six. Projects end at handover, and ongoing support has no set end date. You can stop change work after any phase and ongoing work after any month, and you keep everything produced to that point.

Hybrid ones, yes, and a lot of our work is helping companies decide how the office fits. An office-based company with one fully remote team counts as hybrid. A company where everyone is in the same building every day is not who we are built for, and a generalist HR firm will serve it better.

Tell us what's changing. We'll tell you where it fits.

That's the conversation we're best at. You describe the situation, and we tell you which of these it touches, in what order, or that you don't need us yet. It's free, with no deck and no pitch.
